How to conduct a brilliant discovery

Discovery is the first phase of the project when a dedicated team is analysing the customer’s business needs, attempting to propose a solution that met all parties’ expectations.

The more carefully the team has worked through all the details during this phase, the smoother implementation of the project can be on the delivery. But it also sometimes happens that even experienced in delivery analysts often make mistakes that lead to serious consequences and problems in the subsequent stages, and the project becomes a mess.

During the talk, we will recreate situations that could potentially lead to errors and learn how to build our work in such a way that there are as few unexpected turns as possible.

In 30 minutes of your time, we will complete the express course of a discovery BA, pass the attestation, and you will be ready to go to discovery right after.

Catch up a project or Save Analyst’s Soul

What are you supposed to do when you are onboarding on a project at the UAT phase? How can you be responsible for the result when you have no influence on the quality of the knowledge and documents handed over to you?  And on top of that, you are the only analyst on the project…

Everyone knows how to work "correctly". At that, the question of how to build a scheme of work when an analyst onboards on a  project where the UAT phase is almost upon us, no artefacts are left behind, the team plays partisans and arranges strength tests, and the customer builds a gallows because of unfulfilled expectations and hopes - can often be questionable even for experienced analysts.

Within the talk, the author will offer useful advice on how to release a project with the highest possible quality based on real cases from the personal experience and the experience of her colleagues.
