Extended usage of BPMN notation: using with DMN and CMMN

  • 40 min

As the analyst's practice shows, BPMN notation capabilities are not always enough to describe the processes used. BPMN notation was developed to describe processes in a quality management oriented concept: "A perfect process is a perfectly repeatable process." To expand the capabilities of the analyst, it is proposed to use (together with BPMN) the DMN (Decision Model and Notation - tables of managerial decisions) notation, which allows you to describe the difficult choice of making managerial decisions, and the CMMN (Case Management Model and Notation - notation for the description of case management) notation allows you to describe the processes of activity that change as the situation develops.

The talk will provide a basic description of the notations themselves, areas and use cases.
