At every conference, analysts enthusiastically discuss "How to design a REST API correctly or incorrectly." However, they usually bypass the question of why we are paying attention to this and attempting to design a "correct" "REST" API, and what benefit it brings us.

In this presentation, we will discuss what is referred to as a REST API, why, in most cases, it is unnecessary, and what underlies this concept among analysts.
