Requirement management. Specifications from atomic artifacts in practice

  • Easy
  • 40 min

In the talk, I will share my experience in implementing a requirements management system using distinct artifacts. We will:

  • Explore how to identify, structure, and version requirements. How to compile them into a common specification.
  • Discuss traceability and provide examples of its implementation.
  • Delve into specification validation - who conducts it, why, and how to track its status.

The approach of using atomic requirements is described in various sources in theory, but in my talk, I will showcase practical implementation that helps us consistently maintain an up-to-date set of requirements, understand the history of requirement changes, and visualize dependencies between them.
