In Startup Mode: Analytics Survival Life Hacks

  • 40 min

There is a magical period in the life of new business endeavors within large corporations - the moment when an internal startup transitions from the state of a “cute pony” to a “stern stallion.”

The cute pony is free to do anything as it is cool and very promising - so it is fed with sweet carrots. The life of a stern stallion is much more difficult - it is given oats only if it cheerfully plows the business field.

The analyst who has previously dealt only with established and mature businesses will definitely face new challenges if he has to come across the miraculous period of pony-to-stallion transformation.

To prevent an extreme experience from causing irreparable damage to the analyst's health and psyche, it is highly important to know in advance what you are going to face and how to deal with it.

This is exactly the topic that I am going to cover in my report. I want to offer not a panacea or an ideal method, but rather a set of life hacks for an analyst’s survival.
