Conceptual Object Model: What's a State Model Got to Do with It, or the Tricks of an Old Pirate

  • 1h 30 min

You will be presented with a unique way of designing a conceptual object model.

When designing a conceptual object model, it is very easy to get bogged down in thinking and reasoning, identifying all the entities, the relationships, and the interactions between them. But I have something to tell you: a way to stop the growth of the domain model and focus only on the important entities by identifying pseudo-objects and designing state models for them.

You have not been taught such things, and I, an old pirate, will share my tricks, how to rob and burn frigates: I will tell you, show you examples, and you will try to do it yourself under my careful guidance.
