The Place of the Process Model in the Age of AI

  • 40 min

The emerging age of AI demands new ways of rethinking and applying time-tested assets. One of which will be business process data.
This talk continues the discussion I began at the previous conference, “Why It's Still Important to Keep the Focus on Describing Processes,” and consider process data as the very metamodel that can be used to train corporate AI-models.
In this talk, I will:
  • Set the context of the time we are living in.
  • Present the process model (including its key domains) as a tool that helps AI systems understand the business context.
  • And most importantly, share practical experience of applying process and task mining to transform the process model into a truly digital asset.
This talk will be valuable to anyone reflecting on the place of the process model in the near future, and for those who share the principle that “all work is the work of processes.”
