Software and Business Architecture in a Complex IT Landscape

Architecture is not just a selected set of technologies and frameworks, and certainly not a set of “the most important decisions” in software design that are difficult to change. Architecture is the connection between the function
of supporting the business, and the design of the software itself, the description of the integration of software into the business. This is one of the most significant as it determines the quality of business support by software. But many prefer not to focus on the connection, and talk separately about business architecture and software architecture.
In my speech, there will be a generalized diagram of the system architecture, its landing on the classic enterprise and microservice solutions with specific examples, considered at different scales, from a separate solution to the IT landscape as a whole. Analysts must understand both the architecture of the application and the integration of this software into the supersystem — the enterprise architecture.
