Regional master patient index

In the development of automated systems for various domain areas related to the processing of personal data of citizens (healthcare, statistics, education, etc.) there is a problem of global accounting entity identification. However, in collecting and processing data received from a large number of sources, there are problems that hinder unambiguous identification of the subject. The solution is complicated by the heterogeneity of data (structure, volume of content and purity), the implementation and limitations of software tools, human factor and the lack of an authentic source of master data available to all participants of information exchange.
The report tells about the implemented approach to the construction of the regional master patient index and the results achieved.
