In the recent years there has been a lot of hype around IoT (Internet of Things) and embedded systems, and the number of projects of this type has been on the rise. As this trend continues, more and more analysts working at IT-companies will be assigned to such projects.
Based on my experience on IoT/Embedded projects I'll tell you about the main special aspects of these projects, suitable modeling techniques and also will draw conclusions about the place of analysts in developing such systems. Most of the examples in this talk will be based on a real project - a garage opener system.
Analysts who have not yet worked on IoT/Embedded projects will benefit from this talk the most.
