Independence Day: How to Save the World with BDD

This is a simulation game that allows you to experience the Behaviour-Driven Development process, and learn to use the Gherkin language for specification the target behavior of your software. The simulation is based on the plot of the sci-fi movie "Independence Day" and the elements of one of the most complex and interesting team board game "Remote alarm" (Space Alert).


The workshop consists of several stages related to the stages of the BDD-process: the formation of the team, backlog, sprints to implement the functions of the ship, "debriefing" and a discussion of how to build a similar process on real projects, its advantages and weaknesses.
