I work in the internal technology department of DIRECTUM Company. The mission of my department is to eliminate wastes in business processes.

DIRECTUM is not a production company. But this didn’t stop us from using Lean theory. The popular 8 types of wastes help us to select suggestions for process optimization.

In short, we do the following: we consider each optimization suggestion through the prism of wastes for our company and set the priority. Then, we implement suggestions and estimate their effect.
