Automation of creating project documentation - how not to be scared of standards

While creating a large automated system or a government project, one of a requirement is to develop a set of project documentation following standards.

But does this mean that an analyst should waste all working time to the routine preparation of documents and forget about the real aims of the project? Of course not! At least, our team has decided so when it was entrusted with such a project.

We have developed our own approach to accounting, storage and preparation of documentation. Modified the software development process. We have examined the existing tools, chosen the most convenient ones, written some of them on our own.

And now, most of the time, we are engaging in analysis and design, rather than the routine operations of documenting.

All this will be discussed.
