Currently, the Analyst position (same as Business-analyst, System Designer, Application manager etc.) is progressively gaining popularity: trendy names, attractive vacancies' descriptions, promising various activity.
However, far from everyone understands, who are the analysts and what they really do. For this reason, many cases of misunderstanding occur not only in small talks, but also during daily tasks with colleagues, when there are some open questions, or boundaries of responsibility are blurred.
In my talk, I will highlight some stereotypes of the Analyst position, what the Analyst really does according to a chosen methodology in a project and during the global changing of methodologies.
