Many organizations have templates for FSD, which most analysts use. The templates are developed for some typical projects, but every single task is unique, so a generalized template is not always convenient.

What usually happens after you’ve created a specification? It’s being reviewed by your team (developers and QAs), your customer, and other stakeholders, and, usually, it comes back to you with questions and additional requests. Every such change results in a new review and approval cycle. Later, you keep receiving questions during the development and testing phases.
